I’ve been preoccupied with eliminating a huge backlog of unedited photos from my trip to Taiwan, from this year as well as last. Those interested can take a look at my Flickr photostream.

As for the blog itself, I have a small backlog of topics that I plan to write about (in addition to finishing my Dual Boot Guide). Once the tech topics are done, there may be a short hiatus as I work on an actual site design plus the code necessary to begin my reviews of places to eat in Asia.

Lastly, readers, feel free to leave comments. In fact, I ask that you do, whether you find any of the information here useful, or feel that there are things I can do to improve your experience here.

Getting laid off from Yahoo! about a month ago, I realized that, while I did learn a lot during my two years there, most of it was Yahoo!-specific, and not all too useful outside the purple fishbowl. So here I am, with hopes of building a web rep and learning some new things while I’m at it. And while this site is primarily geared towards being a blog documenting my various hobbies, it is also meant to be a playground for whatever technological curiosities pique my interest.

I’ll update in my next post about the different hosting companies I considered, and how I went about gathering information. With that, hello future readers, and I hope you’ll enjoy the things to come. In the meantime, I hope you’ll bear with me as I make this site into something I can be proud of.
