Welcome!

After putting this off for years, I finally decided to start my own site. Getting laid off from Yahoo! about a month ago, I realized that, while I did learn a lot during my two years there, most of it was Yahoo!-specific, and not all too useful outside the purple fishbowl. So here I am, with hopes of building a web rep and learning some new things while I’m at it. And while this site is primarily geared towards being a blog documenting my various hobbies, it is also meant to be a playground for whatever technological curiosities pique my interest.

I’ll update in my next post about the different hosting companies I considered, and how I went about gathering information. With that, hello future readers, and I hope you’ll enjoy the things to come. In the meantime, I hope you’ll bear with me as I make this site into something I can be proud of.
